Civil Air Patrol gives young people interested in aviation and the Air Force an opprotuntity to learn the skills required to fly planes and work as part of a team. Monroe County Airport hosts events with Sequoyah Cadet Squadron, the unit representing Monroe County. The squadron is commanded by Capt. Stephanie Belli.
